Cindy Sheffield Michaels, a native Mississippian, received a BA in Spanish from Hendrix College in Arkansas and an MA in English from Georgia State University. She is an editor who loves her job, and the attention to detail it requires has rubbed off on her photography: her current focus is macro compositions. Michaels's photographs have been shown in exhibits in Atlanta and other cities, have been published in print and online, and are in private collections throughout the South.
