Photography started as a creative outlet for Myrtie Cope, but became more than a hobby when she spent 5 months in intensive training at Rocky Mountain School of Photography. The training transformed the way she approaches photography and continues to guide her to new experiences. As a professional photographer, she loves to shoot architecture as well as people, but her favorite shooting experiences happen on road trips through the backroads of rural America searching for the perfect shot. Sometimes that shot is an old barn, sometimes an interesting sign or farm animal, and often it is wildflowers or landscapes. Always it is a shot that would not have been experienced on an interstate highway. More of her work can be seen at www.MyrtieCopePhoto.com.
