Ruth
Gogel's prime photographic interests are nature, architecture, and
design. She has won nine best in show awards in photography, and is
a member of Excellence of the Atlanta Artists Center. She also works
in pastel, mixed media, and silkscreen. As well as achieving awards
in numerous local and southeast exhibits, Ruth has been a part of 18
juried exhibitions all over the United States, where she won Honorable
Mentions and Awards. She is a part of numerous permanent collections
including Georgia Tech, Piedmont Hospital, Emory Oral Surgery Clinic,
Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles, South Cobb Arts Alliance, Georgia State
Government Offices, Clayton Arts Alliance and Contel Corporation.
