My love of the Southwest began almost at the same time as my serious photography. I developed a respect for the native cultures and their traditions. Through them I have added a new dimension to my photography. Navajo friends have helped me understand the beauty of their heritage. The camera has opened up new worlds of seeing for me, trying to put on film (and digital sensor) what your eyes and heart can see. The beauty of a sunrise or the last songs of the birds at sunset all add to the feeling that I hope to convey to my viewers. Nature is where I find the greatest inspiration. Photography is more than a hobby for me, it is a passion. You can only take great images if you are committed to your talents. I hope I can continue to use mine to show the wonderful natural places that have been given to us.
